Which recipe link works best?
Recipe websites work best and usually let ReelYums fill in the title, ingredients, and directions automatically. For a public Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok link, ReelYums tries the text from that exact post or video automatically. For Pinterest, it also tries the recipe website attached to the exact Pin. These apps may still hide some content behind a sign-in. If a social post has a Recipe, Full recipe, or website link, that website is still the most reliable choice. For ChatGPT, tap Share and copy the public link beginning with chatgpt.com/share/; private chatgpt.com/c/… links are not accepted. See the picture instructions.
Can I import a recipe from ChatGPT?
Yes. Open the conversation in ChatGPT, tap Share, then Copy link. Paste the public chatgpt.com/share/… link into ReelYums and choose Turn into recipe. ReelYums opens the usual review screen so you can check the recipe before saving. It cannot open private ChatGPT conversations or sign in to your ChatGPT account.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. No card, and no trial that quietly expires. You can keep 10 recipes or saved links free for as long as you want. Past that, Premium is $3.99 monthly or $38.40 yearly. The yearly plan works out to $3.20 a month and is billed once a year.
Can I get to my recipes on my phone?
Yes. It works on anything with a browser. You must sign up or log in before adding ReelYums to your phone. Once your cookbook is open, go to Settings and choose Install ReelYums.
Can other people see my recipes?
Your cookbook stays private unless you choose Share on a recipe. Sharing makes an unguessable link that works for 14 days. Anyone with that link can preview the recipe, but they must choose “Add to my ReelYums” before an independent copy is saved to their cookbook.
How do I cancel Premium?
Any time, from your account menu. You keep everything you've saved. You just can't add new recipes past the free limit until you upgrade again.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Settings has a button to download your whole cookbook as a file, and another to delete your account and everything in it. No support ticket, no waiting.
