Cookmark ("we", "us") is a recipe-saving service. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

• Your email address, name and a hashed password when you sign up.
• The recipes you save, including links, photos, ingredients, steps and tags.
• Whether your account is on the Free or Premium plan.
• Anything you send us through the contact form.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We don't browse your recipes. They're private to your account.
• We don't run third-party ad trackers on the site.

Where your data lives

Your account and recipes are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Access is protected with row-level security, which means the database itself only lets you read and change your own records.

Payments

If you subscribe to Premium ($5.99/month), payment is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as dark mode and text size, and protect unfinished recipe drafts on your device until you save or discard them. No advertising cookies.

Your rights

• You can download all of your recipes from Settings at any time.
• You can permanently delete your account and everything in it from Settings. That takes effect immediately and can't be undone.
• You can edit your name and your recipes whenever you like.

Children

Cookmark is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll note the new date at the top of this page.
